Changes to Scottish Allotments and Gardens Society Constitution

Kelvinside Allotments Association is a member of the Scottish Allotments and Gardens Society.  This is a Scotland wide organisation which has promoted and campaigned for better allotment provision in Scotland since before WW2.  Recently the Society reconstructed itself as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation.  This was approved by the membership at an EGM in November 2019 and a constitution was adopted that had been developed with the help of SENSCOT.  Now the board of trustees wishes to amend this constitution. On September 7  it circulated its proposed new constitution to all members and has asked for a decision to be made via an on line ballot which will close on Monday September 21.  The two versions of the constitution can be accessed through the links below.  If you wish to influence the way the committee votes, please email your thoughts to the committee ([email protected]) by the end of Friday September 18.  The committee is sorry for this short notice, but it has taken us a few days to read through and compare these two big documents.
